Celebrating 25 Years of the Exacta Group

On 27th February 2026, the Exacta Group officially turned 25, marking a quarter of a century of innovation, growth, and purpose.

Starting out in Bristol with a small team and a big vision, Exacta Group has grown into a respected technology business with two specialist brands. Today, we’re known for designing and delivering high-performance, custom hardware solutions across a range of sectors.

The Group now includes Exacta Technologies and Blackcore® Technologies. In 2025, we formally split into these two focused brands, reflecting the strength and expertise of each business and setting a clear direction for the future.

Exacta Technologies continues to work closely with software vendors to create fully branded, bespoke hardware appliances that help unlock growth and maximise software performance. Blackcore Technologies engineers ultra-fast, reliable, overclocked servers purpose-built for the demanding world of financial trading, where speed and precision are critical.

But the real story over the past 25 years is about our people. From assembly engineers and production teams to marketing, warehouse staff and leaders, everyone has shaped our culture and driven progress. Many have been with us for five, ten, fifteen or even twenty-five years. Their commitment and adaptability are the foundation of our success.

To celebrate the milestone, colleagues, partners, and friends came together for a black-tie anniversary event at De Vere Tortworth Court in South Gloucestershire. The evening was filled with reflection and recognition, sharing stories from the early days, presenting service awards, and raising a glass to the next chapter of growth.

Turning 25 isn’t simply about marking time. It’s about recognising how far the Exacta Group has come and looking ahead with confidence to the future.
